All of the variables affecting extraction and taste — the coffee’s grind size, the water temperature, the speed at which water saturates the grounds, the choreography of the water pour — are all within your control.   Such a lovely experience! We aren’t even coffee drinkers but we love to learn about nature and found the processs interesting. Our tour guide was lovely and fun I wish I caught her name! The farm cats were so sweet and adorable following us around on the tour. They had a cafe where the workers were nice and friendly! I got a matcha. I even got to find one of my bucket list plants!!! One of the farm workers was nice enough to let me squeeze the plant and take a flower after I got permission! 10/10!!

  Wir durften mit Reese eine super spannende Tour durch die Farm geniessen. Dabei haben wir vieles über Kona Kaffee erfahren und deren Herstellung. Zusätzlich hat sie uns noch anderes Wissen über einheimische Pflanzenarten mitgegeben. Man durfte nebst den 4 Kaffeesorten auch noch etwas süsses und Coffee Tea probieren. What a wonderful experience! Our tour of Heavenly Hawaiian Kona Coffee Farm was both fascinating and informative. We learned so much about the history of Kona coffee, the growing and harvesting process, and the care and dedication that go into producing some of the world’s most sought-after coffee.

The tour was engaging, educational, and filled with interesting historical details about Hawaii’s coffee industry. It gave us a whole new appreciation for what goes into every cup!
